Brief history of the agency

                     Carpatia Tour is based in Bucharest and was established in 2000. It is a member of ANAT and has ISO Quality Management Certificate EN 9001:2008 no. C-0063 / 15.07.2011. Over the past 12 years of its activity the agency team has been involved in organizing national and international events. Some of these are the following; OSCE  SESSION in 2000, Francophonie Summit in 2006,  OSCE  SESSION in 2007 , NATO SUMMIT IN 2008 , First European Congress “ Les clefs D’OR “ Union Internationale des Concierges D’hotels” 2012 , Ministry of Foreign Affairs , 2013 http://carpatiatour.ro/testimoniale/ . Also Carpatia Tour offered logistic support for organizing meetings and business trips of the Ministry of National Defense General Staff, and one of the trainings courses of Cernavoda Nuclear Power Plant, assistance for the Romanian Football Federation and the National School of Public Health, for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and for the Romanian Commercial Bank.

                            

The main objectives of the agency

                             Carpatia Tour main objectives are to ensure travel assistance to its customers,  reservation of the hotels, guiding tours, transport service: car, minibus, bus, etc. In order to cover a wide range of possible demands, to meet your individual or group requirements, Carpatia Tour is organized into three main departments: incoming, outgoing and transport departments.

 

Incoming Department provides services for booking hotels in Bucharest and in Romania, both for Romanian tourists as well as foreign tourists, cultural tour, events tours, reserving touristic packages at health and holiday resorts. It provides services of organizing meetings, seminars, conferences, congresses, festive meals, camps or school camps, as well as reservation and issuing tickets for any destination.

Our tours are operated by the concierge of the Intercontinental international chain since 2005 and our collaboration is increasingly better.

For these tours we use brand cars like: Volkswagen Passat, Mercedes-Benz E Class, Ford Transit (it offers a very large space for luggage), Mercedes-Benz ML Class (for 4×4 tours), Mercedes Sprinter (for groups between 10-15 persons), Long distance coaches Mercedes-Benz, Setra and Neoplan (for groups larger than 20 persons).

 

The guide’s team is made up of experienced certified people (ex ONT guides – National Tourist Office) and young guides that have been trained by them.

The drivers are certified with professional certificates issued and approved by the Ministry of Transport, psychological examinations and medical tests to date.

Outgoing Department provides reservation services for hotels around the world and organizes trips abroad for groups and FIT both for tourism and business (travel packages are being offered by the agency, created on clients’ requests).

Transport Department provides the rent of buses, minibuses or cars, transfers to / from airport or hotel, and ticketing services for travelling by bus depending on itinerary .
